Access Control System Installation — Waterford Township & Oakland County, MI

Keypad entry, key fob systems, card readers, electric & magnetic locks, and intercoms for businesses across Metro Detroit.

Knowing who is in your building — and who is not — is one of the most important things a business can control. A properly installed access control system lets you decide exactly who has access to what areas, when they have it, and gives you a documented record of every entry and exit.

We install professional access control for businesses of all sizes across Oakland County and Metro Detroit — every system designed around your specific facility and access requirements, not a generic package. Access control is available for commercial installations only.

What We Install

Complete access control solutions for commercial facilities

  • Keypad entry systems — Secure entry points with PIN code access — no keys to lose, no locks to rekey when an employee leaves. Ideal for main entrances, server rooms, storage areas, and any door where you need to control who gets through and when.
  • Key fob systems — Proximity key fob access — employees tap their fob to enter. Easy to manage, easy to deactivate when an employee leaves, and fully trackable so you know exactly who accessed what door and when.
  • Card reader systems — Swipe or proximity card access for businesses that need a more formal credential system — common in offices, medical facilities, and multi-tenant buildings where access is managed across different employee levels.

Who We Serve

Access control for every type of commercial facility

  • Offices — The most common request is the server room and executive area. Keyed locks get copied, lost, and forgotten. A card reader or keypad means only authorized people get in — with a timestamped record of every entry.
  • Warehouses & industrial — Loading docks are the biggest vulnerability — multiple people, shift changes, contractors, deliveries. Access control at every dock entry means you know exactly who came in, when, and when they left.
  • Retail stores — The stockroom and cash office are where most retail theft happens — and most is internal. Controlling access with a keypad or fob, plus a record of every entry, changes employee behavior immediately.

Knowledge Base

Questions business owners ask about access control

Q.How much does access control installation cost?

Pricing varies by the number of doors, the type of system, and the complexity. A single-door keypad for a small office is very different from a multi-door card reader system across a large facility. We never give a final price without understanding your facility first — call (248) 257-8181 and we will talk through your situation and give an accurate ballpark.

Q.What happens when an employee leaves the company?

With a keypad you simply change the PIN — no locksmith, no rekeying. With a fob or card reader you deactivate that credential and it stops working immediately. No locks to change, no keys to collect — one of the biggest advantages over traditional keyed locks.

Q.Can I control access for different employees at different times?

Yes — most systems let you set schedules per credential. An employee can have access during business hours but not after midnight; a cleaning crew only on specific nights; a manager to areas regular staff cannot enter. Time- and role-based access is standard on professionally installed systems.

Q.Do you do residential access control?

No — our access control service is for commercial facilities only. For residential smart-lock installation we recommend a residential locksmith or smart-home installer.

Q.Can access control be installed on any type of door?

Most doors can accommodate it — wood, metal, glass, and hollow metal frames. The hardware depends on the door type and security level required. We assess your doors during the site survey and recommend the right hardware for each entry point.

Q.How long does access control installation take?

A single door is typically a few hours. Multi-door systems across a larger facility may take one to two days depending on access points and wiring. We assess your facility beforehand so we arrive prepared with the right equipment and a clear plan.

Control Who Has Access

Know who is in your building. Know when they were there. Know they are supposed to be.

Every access control installation starts the same way — a real conversation about your facility, your access requirements, and what you need to control. Whether you need a single door secured or a complete multi-door system, call us and we will design the right solution.
